FENDI HANDBAGS
The Fendi company originated on Via del Plebiscito in Rome as a small fur shop, started by a woman named Adele Casagrande. In 1925, Adele married Edoardo Fendi, and the couple decided to change the name to Fendi. A marriage between the Fendi's and Karl Lagerfeld, a German designer, in 1965 proved to be beneficial to the Fendi company and he soon became a main designer for the company, establishing a well-known name for Fendi by creating successful fashion shows and bringing his own ideas to the table.
Marvin Traub of Bloomingdale's was the first to intorduce Fendi to the United States. Now, Fendi sells their bags in high-end department stores and Fendi outlets across the world.
